As you know, making an online store in PrestaShop requires the use of modules to adapt it to the needs of our business. Surely you already use many of them, but I want to show you which are, in our opinion, the essential modules for your PrestaShop online store.

Electronic Invoice

Another module that is essential if we want to comply with current legislation in our online store. To comply with the Law of Electronic Commerce is necessary to give the customer the option to choose whether to invoice in PDF only or printed invoice in the package.

With this module you will add the option to your customer to choose if he wants an electronic invoice or, on the contrary, he wants to receive the invoice on paper.

If the customer has decided that he only wants the PDF, the option to send the invoice by email will appear in the backoffice.

On the other hand, if he has selected not to receive an electronic invoice, this option will disappear and a warning will appear to send the paper invoice with the order.

This module adds the option of cash on delivery in your online store, but with a commission for the choice of this payment method, being able to add a percentage to the price of the product, a fixed amount, or both options.

The dynamic search engine module improves the user experience to infinity by adding a dynamic search engine in the online store. When you do your search, it will display the results as you type, with a thumbnail of the product image, name, price and a button to add to cart. It’s fantastic!

Show CMS pages in product page

This module allows you to add tabs with CMS page content to the product tab. This allows you to add useful and relevant custom information that you don’t want to add in the product description but you consider important for your customer.

To add it, you can create a CMS page and write the content you want and then go to the product page and add the CMS page you have created and you are done.

Information in the cart for free shipping

Well, let’s finish this list of modules with one that will help you to increase the minimum value of the orders placed in your store.

This module will show the customer the amount that is missing to reach the minimum amount for free shipping. In this way, you incentivize your customer to add products and make a purchase for a higher amount.

If you have the free shipping option, this module should not be missing in your list.
